WARNING: Service Center Locksmith Companies!

I just experienced an awful situation for a customer. This hasn't been the first time that something like this happened. The customer lost her keys to her 2007 Chevrolet Malibu and the locksmith removed her old ignition. Took important pieces out then put it back in. The lock turned without having a cut key and the customer ended up with an ignition that turned with any key that fit. Not to mention the key didn't even work the door since it wasn't cut! The "locksmith" charged her $250.00 for this scam!

I came out and removed her ignition, deciphered it. Cut the key for the ignition. Made sure it worked the door and only charged her $75.00. So be sure to call an actual locksmith who can tell you everything right there on the phone without any gimmicks.

Don't Get Scammed

I've experienced a few locksmith companies in my time, Some price their services fairly good and some not so good. In some cases I've seen a locksmith charge over $170.00 to get you into your vehicle or $400.00 to drill your lock that they could't pick and then put a new one in. What I'm saying is make sure you do a little research, look at their reviews, and ask the right questions. Even if you don't choose my services, feel free to email or even call so you can get the right information. Don't get scammed, choose Z's Lockout Service and save a few bucks.

General Residential Locks

Choosing the right locks for your house might seem like a pretty easy decision. The part people don't know is that most locks are very simple to get in. Being a locksmith, I come across a variety of locks. Some good, some bad, some are cheap, and some are very expensive. To be honest, there are only a few different types of locks for your home, and what you see at your local store is pretty much what everyone uses. From my experience after replacing someone's locks is that the hardware they use is not very effective. Anchoring your deadbolt with a half inch screw is not going tblacko stop someone from kicking your door in. That's why professional installation is so important. Locks are made to protect your possessions, your family, and yourself. So why use cheap made products and have them in your house incorrectly? At Z's Lockout Service we not only provide you with good information, but we help you install your hardware and for a fair price.
